Liz is the owner who built Gypsea Yoga with the local village people. She has been practicing yoga for over 10 years and is a registered yoga teacher through Yoga Alliance.
She also has additional skills gained through 20 years of teaching in Australian Primary Schools. Drawing on her own life experiences Liz is an extremely capable teacher who is also thorough, patient and compassionate.

A self-confessed gypsy, Liz has always followed her own path. An Australian surfer girl, from back when girls didn’t surf, Liz embarked on a journey that led her off the beaten track to this special island paradise. After falling in love with the simplicity of Lombok, and the island’s people, Liz settled here to create a unique place where others will also be inspired to explore the simple pleasure of un-doing.

Jeanie brings a deep understanding of the inspiration of yoga to the mat. Her classes are fun and creatively sequenced, incorporating safe alignment and modifications to meet each student at their personal level of yoga. She encourages her students to deepen their personal relationship with yoga in a way that serves their lives, with an undercurrent of joy and thankfulness.
Jeanie Schuerman Carcilli is the creator of Samadhi Yoga, an original fusion style of yoga that she developed in order to translate her view of life as an art form into a practice that empowers us all to live our own masterpieces. As a Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga Teacher, she has many years experience in teaching a variety of yoga styles including Vinyasa, Hatha, Restorative, Pre-/Post-Natal, Ayurveda, Chakra, Acro yoga, Yin and Kundalini. From these experiences Jeanie was able to draw on certain components from the different styles, creating her own Samadhi Yoga style.
In addition to yoga, Jeanie has taught English and Spanish to High School children. She is a fun loving, friendly, compassionate lady who also has experience serving as a U.S. Peace Corps Volunteer in Morocco, helping to educate less fortunate women in health and hygiene programs.
